PRN Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)

Responsibilities and Duties As a Right at Home Physical Therapist Assistant, you’ll help clients improve mobility, function, and independence through:
Therapy Implementation:
Carry out physical therapy plans under the direction and supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist.
Client Engagement:
Assist clients with exercises and mobility training tailored to their condition and goals.
Progress Monitoring:
Observe and report on client progress, and communicate effectively with the supervising PT and care team.
Education:
Educate clients and their families on exercises and home safety practices.
Collaboration:
Work alongside other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and high-quality care.
Documentation:
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of services provided and client progress.
Support and Motivation:
Provide encouragement and emotional support to clients to help them stay engaged in their recovery.
Requirements:
Licensure:
Current licensure to practice as a PTA in the state of Alabama.
Experience:
2 years of experience preferred (home health or hospice experience a plus).
Certification:
Must possess and maintain current CPR certification.
Physical Capability:
Ability to lift/move up to 50 lbs without assistance.
Driver’s License:
Valid driver’s license and current automobile insurance.
Background Check:
