Responsibilities:

To provide physical therapy care within the PT scope of practice in accordance with established standards of practice, department procedures and productivity standards Assist the Physical Therapist in the evaluation of residents as directed. Assist the Physical Therapist with the development of treatment plans as directed. Qualifications Associate Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program. Current licensure as Physical Therapist Assistant in practicing state(s) Assume responsibility for ongoing continuing education and professional development to maintain current licensure and certification Skills Proven work experience/background as a physical therapist/assistant Intensive education and clinical expertise Ability to manage patients with different types of personalities Current knowledge of treatment practices Drive to continually learn and grow Professional behavior Excellent interpersonal communication skills Valid license to practice physical therapy Associates Degree for assistant position
