Become a part of our caring community and help us put healthfirst As a Home Health Physical Therapist Assistant, you will: Administer the physical therapy treatment plan as developed bythe Physical Therapist. Administer non-complex active and passive manual therapeuticexercises, therapeutic massage, traction heat, light, cold, water,and electrical modalities to patients. Accurately documents daily, weekly, or monthly records ofclients’. Submits clinical paperwork to the office on time eachweek. Attend educational meetings and coordinates and contributes todepartment in-services. Notify physical therapist or Executive Director of anyequipment failures, lack of supplies, staff or client changes, andany other departmental Schedule clients and performs varied office tasks. Apply concepts of infection control and universal precautionsin performing patient care activities. Accept clinical assignments that are consistent with educationand competence to care for patients. Promote compliance with all fiscal intermediaries and/or otherthird-party payors, through education, coaching, and otherassistance as necessary. Use your skills to make an impact
RequiredExperience/Skills:
Associate degree in Physical Therapy & Current state license topractice Physical Therapy. Valid driver’s license, auto insurance and reliabletransportation. Proof of current CPR certification. Minimum one year experience as a Physical Therapy Assistant;Home Health experience a Plus. Comprehensive knowledge of the physical, emotional, social, andbiological changes that occur in the geriatric population. Self-directed, enthusiastic, and accepts constructivefeedback. Demonstrates good verbal and written communication andorganization skills. Communicates and demonstrates a professional image/attitude forpatients, families, clients, coworkers, and others. Meets mandatory continuing education requirements of CenterWellHome Health and licensing board. Maintains clinical competency inPhysical Therapy practice and theory. Maintains current licensure certifications and meets mandatorycontinuing education requirements. Must read, write, and speak fluent English. Performs other related duties as assigned.
