  • Duties
  • Greet patients warmly and assist them with check-in procedures.
  • Schedule and confirm patient appointments, ensuring efficient use of time slots.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and update information as necessary.
  • Answer phone calls promptly, addressing inquiries or directing calls to appropriate staff members.
  • Process patient intake forms and verify insurance information.
  • Assist with billing inquiries and coordinate with insurance companies as needed.
  • Ensure the reception area is organized, welcoming, and compliant with health regulations.
  • Skills
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with patients and healthcare professionals.
  • Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and other office software.
  • Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail for managing multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information confidentially and professionally.
  • Customer service experience in a healthcare setting is preferred but not required.
  • Basic knowledge of medical terminology is a plus.
