La Sonrisa del Abuelo LLC Oakland Park, FL 33334 Job Overview As a Physical Therapy Aide, you will play a crucial role in supporting physical therapists and patients in a clinical setting. This position offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the field of physical therapy. Responsibilities Assist physical therapists with patient care and treatment sessions Set up equipment and prepare treatment areas for therapy sessions Monitor and document patient progress during therapy sessions Support therapists in implementing care plans and exercises Aid in clinic maintenance and organization to ensure a clean and safe environment Assist with administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments and managing patient records Skills Knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and body systems Familiarity with orthopedic conditions and treatments Understanding of trigger point therapy techniques Experience working in a clinic or hospital setting is beneficial Ability to assist with discharge planning and care plans
