Patient Care Technician / Chiropractic assistant Kernan Chiropractic 11900 Atlantic Boulevard, Jacksonville, FL 32225 Responsibilities Duties will include: Greeting patients as they arrive Front office tasks (checking patients in/out, scheduling, answering phones, referrals, etc.); Administering modalities (Interferential, Electrical Muscle stimulation, Ultrasound, Intersegmental Traction); Obtaining patient subjective notes and health histories to include vitals; Entering exam data into Electronic Health Records, Records request, copying, filing, etc Minor lifting, prolonged standing and walking. Light cleaning and laundry Qualifications Prior experience working in a Chiropractic or medical practice setting is preferred. Excellent interpersonal skills are essential in order to build relationships with patients. Multi-tasking and time management skills and the ability to juggle a large patient load. Must be able to think critically and make judgments about how best to help patients. Ability to empathize with patients who are in acute and chronic pain and a strong desire to help improve their quality of living. Strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of a close-knit team. Must have reliable transportation Pay starting at $13 per hour We are a service oriented Chiropractic office. We may adjust our work hours to our patient needs. We occasionally work one or two weekends a month on Saturday morning only. Other Promotional hours may be requested of candidate depending on need. Athletic trainer or Physical therapy assistant would be a good candidate
