Chiropractic Assistant (Cross-Trained with Medical Assistant) Are you a motivated and compassionate professional looking to make a difference in patient care? We are seeking a Chiropractic Assistant who is cross-trained with Medical Assistant skills and is ready to travel as needed.
Responsibilities:
Scheduling:
Schedule patient appointments, follow-ups, and procedures. Manage patient flow and maintain timely schedules.
Patient Records:
Maintain accurate patient records and manage electronic health records (EHR). Ensure all documentation is completed and updated.
Communication:
Answer phones, address patient inquiries, and provide information about services and procedures. Communicate test results to patients and explain procedures.
Billing and Coding:
Assist with medical billing and coding for insurance claims.
Inventory Management:
Order and manage medical supplies and equipment.
Patient Education:
Educate patients on prescribed medications, treatments, and self-care procedures.
Qualifications:
Previous experience as a Chiropractic Assistant or Medical Assistant (or a combination of both) Strong communication and organizational skills Ability to travel between locations as needed Availability to work on Saturdays Knowledge of venipuncture procedures and patient care protocols is a plus Compassionate, positive attitude, and team-oriented
