PT Assistant / Brace Fitter Key Tasks & Responsibilities
- Evaluate and measure patients to determine the type of brace required
- Create and modify braces to meet the specific needs of the patient
- Instruct the patient on how to use and care for their brace
- Adjust the brace to ensure perfect fit and maximum comfort
- Follow medical prescription and specifications to fit brace
- Maintain inventory and order supplies and materials as needed
- Ensure patient satisfaction by providing excellent customer service
- Thrive in an environment where communication and teamwork is critical
- Must be well organized, great at multi-tasking and detail oriented
- Must maintain a positive, caring attitude toward patients at all times
