Dynamic Outpatient Setting:
Opportunity to work with a diverse caseload and contribute to impactful patient outcomes. We’re looking to bring our new PTA on board by June 30th at the latest. Duties Assist the Physical Therapist in developing and implementing individualized treatment plans for patients. Provide therapeutic interventions such as exercises, manual therapy, and modalities to enhance patient recovery. Monitor patient progress and document treatment outcomes accurately. Educate patients and their families about treatment plans, exercises, and home care strategies. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care. Maintain a clean and safe working environment by following infection control protocols. Participate in ongoing professional development and training to stay current with industry practices. Qualifications Associate’s degree in Physical Therapy Assisting or equivalent from an accredited program. Current state licensure or certification as a Physical Therapist Assistant. Knowledge of anatomy and physiology relevant to physical therapy practices. Experience in home health, skilled nursing facilities, or outpatient settings is preferred. Familiarity with trigger point therapy techniques is a plus. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and team members. Ability to work with diverse populations, including geriatrics and individuals requiring inpatient care. Commitment to providing exceptional patient care and promoting patient independence. $28.00 – $32.00 per hour Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
