Qualifications:
Graduate of an accredited college with an A.S., in PhysicalTherapist Assistant that the APTA recognizes. PTA holds a current license and/or registration as a PhysicalTherapist Assistant in-state as applicable.
Responsibilities:
Physical Therapist Assistant provides comprehensive treatmentto patients under the supervision of a PT according to statepractice guidelines. Assist PT in identifying appropriate patients and referringthem to rehab accordingly. Document patient’s progress on weekly progress note in anaccurate and timely fashion, and obtain the co-signature of thePT. Ensure MD orders are obtained for treatments, recertificationsand discharges. Physical Therapist Assistant completes all requireddocumentation requirements as indicated and according to stateguidelines
