Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) $5k sign up! Tucker Operating Group 2165 Idlewood Road, Tucker, GA 30084 Tucker Wellness and Nursing is currently seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant, to join our team! The ideal candidate will be a strong leader and customer service focused.

Available positions:

Full time with a $5,000 Sign on bonus!

Responsibilities:

• Assist the Physical Therapist in evaluating and treating patients with various musculoskeletal conditions
• Implement treatment plans under the supervision of the Physical Therapist
• Provide therapeutic exercises and modalities to patients
• Monitor and document patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary
• Educate patients on proper techniques for exercises and activities
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
• Maintain a clean and organized treatment area

Experience:

• Previous experience working as a Physical Therapist Assistant is preferred
• Knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology
• Familiarity with Long Term Care setting and occupational health practices
• Experience in providing patient care and assisting with therapeutic exercises
• Proficiency in trigger point therapy techniques

Skills:

• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare professionals
• Excellent problem-solving abilities to address patient needs and adjust treatment plans accordingly
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
• Attention to detail to accurately document patient progress and treatment outcomes
