Overview
The Physical Therapy Assistant implements treatment programs established by the Physical Therapist for patients of all ages. He/she supervises ancillary staff with delivery of patient care and with department activities.
The qualified candidate possesses the following:
A. Education
1. Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant curriculum
B. Experience
1. Prior experience as a PTA or other experience in the physical therapy setting preferred
2. Demonstratedpetence in the care of populations served which may include neonatal, infant, child, adolescent, adult, and geriatric.
C. Licensure/Certification
1. Licensed as a Physical Therapist Assistant by the state of Gia
