Position Summary :

The Full-Time Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) will provide skilled physical therapy services under the supervision of a Registered Physical Therapist (RPT). This role includes implementing and modifying treatment plans, monitoring patient progress, and ensuring each resident achieves their rehabilitation goals in a compassionate and professional setting.

Key Responsibilities :

Provide skilled physical therapy services in accordance with physician orders and under the supervision of a Registered Physical Therapist (RPT). Respond to service requests, relay information, and refer to the Registered Physical Therapist as needed. Implement and modify the patient’s physical therapy plan of care based on RPT’s supervision and patient progress. Measure, monitor, and record residents’ motor function, strength, and muscle performance. Observe patient responses to treatments and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans during sessions. Write and maintain accurate progress reports for each patient’s treatment.
