JobResponsibilities:
Assist in the implementation of individualized therapy programsas directed by the Physical Therapist. Observe patients before, during, and after therapy, notingpatients’ status and reporting to a Physical Therapist. Help patients do specific exercises as part of the plan ofcare. Use technology and equipment to assist with therapy. Communicate with patients and their families regarding therapygoals and progress.
Desired qualifications:
Valid California Physical Therapist Assistant license. (OrPending) Graduation from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistantprogram. Orthopedic and Geriatric experience. Ability to handle sensitive patient information withconfidentiality. Outstanding interpersonal communication skills. Nice-to-haves(Not Required): 2-3 years of clinical experience in physical therapy. Experience in out-patient physical therapy setting. Experience with Neurological cases. Experience with electronic health records and digitaldocumentation.
