Full Job Description Duties:

• Assist the physical therapist in providing patient care and treatment plans
• Implement therapeutic exercises and modalities under the guidance of the physical therapist
• Monitor and document patient progress during therapy sessions
• Educate patients on proper techniques for exercises and activities
• Assist with patient transfers and mobility as needed
• Administer treatments such as trigger point therapy and manual therapy techniques
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
• Maintain a clean and organized treatment area

Requirements:

• Associate’s degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
• Valid state licensure or certification as a Physical Therapist Assistant
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology
• Experience in occupational health, hospital, or acute care settings preferred
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
