Physical Therapy Technician Comprehensive Physical Therapy Mandeville, LA 70471 Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapy Aide to join our team in a dynamic outpatient clinic setting. The ideal candidate will assist physical therapists in providing high-quality patient care, ensuring a supportive and efficient environment for rehabilitation. This role is essential in helping patients regain mobility and improve their overall physical health through effective therapy practices. Duties Assist physical therapists in preparing treatment areas and equipment for patient sessions. Help patients with exercises and therapeutic activities, ensuring proper technique and safety. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the clinic, including treatment rooms and equipment. Document patient progress and report any changes or concerns to the supervising therapist. Provide support during patient evaluations and treatments, including assisting with mobility aids. Engage with patients to create a welcoming atmosphere, encouraging their participation in therapy. Uphold clinic policies regarding patient confidentiality and safety protocols. Qualifications Knowledge of basic anatomy and physiology is preferred to understand treatment processes. Experience in a clinical or outpatient setting is advantageous but not required. Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with patients and healthcare professionals. Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while demonstrating initiative. Familiarity with orthopedics, inpatient care, acute care, or hospital medicine is a plus.
