Become a part of our caring community and help us put healthfirst As a Home Health Physical Therapist Assistant, you will:
- Administer the physical therapy treatment plan as developed by thePhysical Therapist.
- Administer non-complex active and passivemanual therapeutic exercises, therapeutic massage, traction heat,light, cold, water, and electrical modalities to patients.
- Accurately documents daily, weekly, or monthly records of clients’.Submits clinical paperwork to the office on time each week.
- Attend educational meetings and coordinates and contributes todepartment in-services.
- Notify physical therapist or ExecutiveDirector of any equipment failures, lack of supplies, staff orclient changes, and any other departmental
- Schedule clients andperforms varied office tasks.
- Apply concepts of infection controland universal precautions in performing patient care activities.
- Accept clinical assignments that are consistent with education andcompetence to care for patients.
- Promote compliance with allfiscal intermediaries and/or other third-party payors, througheducation, coaching, and other assistance as necessary.

Required Experience/Skills:
- Performsother related duties as assigned.
- Associate degree in PhysicalTherapy from an American Physical Therapy Association.
- Currentstate license to practice Physical Therapy.
- Valid driver’slicense, auto insurance and reliable transportation.
- Proof ofcurrent CPR certification.
- Minimum two years experience as aPhysical Therapy Assistant,
- Comprehensive knowledge of thephysical, emotional, social, and biological changes that occur inthe geriatric population.
- Self-directed, enthusiastic, andaccepts constructive feedback.
- Demonstrates good verbal andwritten communication and organization skills.
- Communicates anddemonstrates a professional image/attitude for patients, families,clients, coworkers, and others.
- Meets mandatory continuingeducation requirements of CenterWell Home Health and licensingboard. Maintains clinical competency in Physical Therapy practiceand theory.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule and travellocally.
- Able to maintain confidentiality.
- Maintains currentlicensure certifications and meets mandatory continuing educationrequirements.
- Must read, write, and speak fluent English.
- Musthave good and regular attendance. Pay Range
