We are searching for a team-oriented individual with excellent communication and organization skills. Responsibilities Oversees the structure and daily operation of the program, including organization, administration, periodic review, and evaluation, continued development, and general effectiveness of program curricula.
Maintain student data and analyze for retention rates, credential pass rate, employer/student surveys.
Oversee program accreditation from the Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education (CAPTE)
Collaborate with the PTA Director of Clinical Education to ensure adequacy and effectiveness of clinical affiliations Maintain program budget and fiscal resources for program administration Participate in department activities, including committee meetings, curriculum discussion, student solutions management, and other service activities.
Provide didactic instruction in the program each quarter Requirements Education Holds a minimum of a Master’s Degree Licensure Holds an active, unencumbered PT license or PTA license/certification in NC Experience A minimum of five years full-time post-licensure experience that includes a minimum of three years of full-time clinical experience in the US A minimum of two years of teaching experience in classroom, lab, or clinical settings Experience in administration, management, and leadership Experience in curriculum development, instructional methodologies, evaluation and assessment strategies Experience with CAPTE accreditation preferred
