Staff BAYADA Home Health Care is currently seeking an experiencedPhysical Therapist Assistant, PTA, for a full-time or part-timeopportunity performing home health visits for our Charlotte Visitsoffice. This office services adult and geriatric patients on a pervisit basis in territories throughout Mecklenburg County. Thefocused territory is in Mecklenburg County North of Uptown. As ahome care Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) you will assistclients in attaining or maintaining optimal physical well being byproviding treatment, tests, client education and appropriateinterventions as delegated by a licensed Physical Therapist. EachPhysical Therapist Assistant (PTA) must: Have current licensure or certification in the state of NorthCarolina Have graduated from a two-year college level program approvedby the American Physical Therapy Association, as indicated byschool transcript or diploma, or Have two years of appropriate experience as an PhysicalTherapist Assistant (PTA) and a satisfactory grade on a proficiencyexam conducted, approved or sponsored by the U.S. Public HealthService when initial qualification occurred before December 31,1977 Have at least one year’s work experience under the supervisionof a qualified Physical Therapist.
