Physical Therapy Assistant – Outpatient Position Available In Grafton, New Hampshire

Overview Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center seeks a full-time Physical Therapist Assistant to join our large outpatient rehabilitation team. In this role, you will treat patients after surgery, illness, or injury, organizing and conducting medically prescribed physical therapy programs. The patient populations range from pediatrics to geriatrics, and spans numerous service lines. Our ideal candidate would have primarily an interest in orthopedic and sports rehabilitation, however orientation is comprehensive to meet the needs of the individual and structured mentorship is offered. Responsibilities Performs treatment of patients following program developed by a Physical Therapist. Documents treatment goals and patient’s progress. Provides education/instruction to patients and families. Participates in and supports departmental programs such as in-service education, student programs, volunteer/observation programs, Professional Practice Committee, etc. Performs other duties as required or assigned. Qualifications Licensed Physical Therapy Assistant (AA degree). Required Licensure/Certifications Physical Therapy Assistant NH OR Temp PTA NH BLS
