Job Overview :

Seeking a skilled Physical Therapy Assistant to support rehabilitation services under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist. The PTA will assist in implementing treatment plans to restore mobility, relieve pain, and improve physical function for patients recovering from injury, surgery, or illness.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out prescribed physical therapy treatment plans
• Guide patients through exercises, functional mobility training, and therapeutic interventions
• Monitor and document patient progress, reporting changes to the Physical Therapist
• Educate patients and caregivers on at-home therapy routines
• Ensure patient safety and proper equipment usage during sessions
• Assist with assessments and re-evaluations under PT supervision
• Maintain accurate treatment records in compliance with documentation standards
• Collaborate with PTs and interdisciplinary team to optimize rehab outcomes

Certification, Licensure and Experience Requirement:

• PTA License – New Hampshire/Compact
• BLS Certification – AHA (Preferred)
