Full Job Description Job Details:

Wayne, NJ Physical Therapist Assistant – PTA 12 weeks, 37.5 hours guaranteed 9a-5pm (30 min meal break) Mon-Fri $16 hourly, $40 OT, $700 stipend = $1300 weekly gross based on 37.5 hours Physical Therapy Assistant Responsibilities Under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist, provides therapeutic interventions to help residents regain function, prevent disability, and achieve optimal performance. Applies knowledge of physical therapy principles, techniques, and equipment, including therapeutic exercise and functional training. Delivers prescribed treatments with proficiency in muscle re-education, corrective exercise, coordination, and gait training. Accurately monitors and documents patient responses, progress, or setbacks. Prepares detailed reports, maintains accurate progress notes, and ensures thorough recordkeeping in accordance with facility standards.
