As a Home Health Physical TherapistAssistant , you will: Administer the physical therapy treatmentplan as developed by the Physical Therapist. Administer non-complexactive and passive manual therapeutic exercises, therapeuticmassage, traction heat, light, cold, water, and electricalmodalities to patients. Accurately documents daily, weekly, ormonthly records of clients’. Submits clinical paperwork to theoffice on time each week. Attend educational meetings andcoordinates and contributes to department in-services. Notifyphysical therapist or Executive Director of any equipment failures,lack of supplies, staff or client changes, and any otherdepartmental Schedule clients and performs varied office tasks.

Apply concepts of infection control and universal precautions inperforming patient care activities. Accept clinical assignmentsthat are consistent with education and competence to care forpatients. Promote compliance with all fiscal intermediaries and/orother third-party payors, through education, coaching, and otherassistance as necessary. Use your skills to make an impact

RequiredExperience/Skills:

Performs other related duties as assigned.

Associate degree in Physical Therapy from an American PhysicalTherapy Association. Current state license to practice PhysicalTherapy. Valid driver’s license, auto insurance and reliabletransportation. Proof of current CPR certification. Minimum twoyears experience as a Physical Therapy Assistant, Comprehensiveknowledge of the physical, emotional, social, and biologicalchanges that occur in the geriatric population. Self-directed,enthusiastic, and accepts constructive feedback. Demonstrates goodverbal and written communication and organization skills.

Communicates and demonstrates a professional image/attitude forpatients, families, clients, coworkers, and others. Meets mandatorycontinuing education requirements of CenterWell Home Health andlicensing board. Maintains clinical competency in Physical Therapypractice and theory. Ability to work a flexible schedule and travellocally. Able to maintain confidentiality. Maintains currentlicensure certifications and meets mandatory continuing educationrequirements. Must read, write, and speak fluent English. Must havegood and regular attendance. Pay Range
