Physical Therapy Assistant Job Summary:

Provides physical therapy and related assessment services for patients with the principles and practices of physical therapy and with Lighthouse Therapeutics, LLC guidelines.

Provides quality PT including:

direct treatment, assist with the development of initial and ongoing treatment plan, discharge plan, supervision of aides, and participates in case management. Lighthouse Therapeutics is committed to quality and service in all interactions with patients and families. Adheres to all state regulations regarding Physical Therapy.

Essential Functions:

Optimize the functionality and skills of patients by providing, directing and/or overseeing Lighthouse Therapeutics, LLC therapy in the following: screening of patients, assessing and treating all patients who might benefit from therapy as referred by physician; documenting progress toward identified objectives; and communicating plan of care with family and other professionals. Provide direct patient care in natural environment in Kershaw County and clinic setting in the Kershaw office. Maintain confidentiality of Lighthouse Therapeutics, LLC facility and patient information.

Qualities:

Leadership & Supervision Communication skills for accurate, concise, and organized oral and written presentation of information to patients and staff. Listening, reading and comprehension skills for analyzing reports, charts and correspondence. Effective clinical problem-solving skills (e.g. identify and prioritize issues in responsive manner, develop sound and innovative action plans, execute action plans on a timely basis, ensure appropriate results, etc.) Required credentials: Graduate of American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) accredited school of physical therapy. Valid state license as a License Physical Therapy Assistant.

Job Responsibilities:

Provide direct care services in natural environment in Kershaw County and the clinic setting in the Kershaw office

Compensation/Incentives:

Pay starting at $30-$35 per visit, negotiable based on experience Monthly Stipend for caseloads of 30 or more visits per week Monday-Thursday 1099/Quartley Performance Bonuses New Graduates are encouraged to apply!
