Job Duties:

Assist the Physical Therapist in executing individualized treatment plans for patients recovering from illness, injury, or surgery Deliver therapeutic interventions including strength training, balance improvement, and mobility exercises Support patients in achieving functional goals and regaining independence Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs and rehab strategies Monitor progress, report outcomes, and adapt care under PT supervision Maintain timely and accurate documentation in accordance with facility standards and state regulations Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure a holistic approach to care Stay informed on best practices in physical therapy and participate in ongoing learning Required Qualifications for Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA): Current Physical Therapist Assistant license in the state of practice Associate degree from a CAPTE-accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program Experience in skilled nursing, inpatient rehab, or outpatient therapy preferred Strong clinical reasoning and interpersonal skills
