Job Summary andQualifications Provides Physical Therapy services to patients within their homes. Will assist in the assessment, treatment, programplanning and implementation. Functions under the supervision of aPhysical Therapist. PTA will adhere to applicable practices ofphysical therapy, policies and procedures and state regulations.

What you will do in this role: Optimize the physical abilities andskills of patients by assisting in the screening of patients,implementing treatment for assigned patients, delivering treatmentto achieve identified goals according to the established treatmentplan, documenting progress toward identified goals andcommunicating patient status and needs to the patient, thepatient’s family, the staff and other professionals as appropriateunder the direction of the registered and/or licensed physicaltherapist Assists in the selection of Physical Therapytechniques/media and in the sequence of activities, adaptstechniques/media as indicated by patient performance and followingconsultation with the Physical Therapist. Monitors patient’sresponse to intervention and consults with Physical Therapist ifmodification is indicated. Adheres to department and patientschedules and modifies as appropriate for treatment regime. Adaptstreatment under the supervision of a Physical Therapist to meet thepersonal needs of the patient.

What qualifications you will need:

Associate’s degree from an accredited Physical Therapy Assistantprogram Certifications, Licenses, and other Special RequirementsCompletion of state exam. Must be a licensed driver with anautomobile that is insured in accordance with state and/ororganization requirements and is in good working order Healthcareat Home is a service line from HCA healthcare.
