Job Description
Job Summary:
Assists a Physical Therapist with a patient’s rehabilitative activities to help reduce pain and improve mobility. Full-time/40 hours/week
Job Duties:
Supports therapist in assessing the condition of patients, planning treatment programs, preparing treatment schedules and keeping records on the progress of treatment. Assists with therapeutic procedures or administering procedures under a therapist’s supervision. Assists in exercise instruction and demonstration, patient evaluation and testing.
Job Requirements:
Minimum Education Associate’s degree in Physical Therapy Assistant•Required Required Skills Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
Certifications:
BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC)•Required within 30 days of hire, if not current upon hire.
Licenses:
