Advanced Practice Provider Critical Care Fellowship Cultivating certified providers with the highest regard for evidence-based medicine, professional practice, and critical care clinical experience. Our vision is to prepare outstanding acute care nurse practitioners and certified physician assistants with in-depth didactic material, practical simulation, and strong clinical experiences, while developing critical thinking and procedural skills for successful critical care practice. Fellowship program Our 9 month program at HCA Florida North Florida Hospital gives acute care nurse practitioners or physician assistants the post-training competence with common invasive ICU procedures allowing them to rapidly enter the ICU provider workforce. New graduates are highly encouraged to apply. Applicants must be acute care boarded, licensed NP or PA with an active Florida license before starting the fellowship Rotations with focus on critically ill cardiovascular, medical, neuro, and surgical patient populations Receive feedback through exams, regular evaluations by each mentor, and competency-based procedure validation forms Supervised Clinical hours and dedicated educational hours each week 36-48 hours each week combined clinical work and didactic learning Salary and Benefits provided
