Job Summary:
Provide surgical and non-surgical treatment of patients with spine related conditions.
Essential Functions:
Candidate will work closely with attending spine surgeon in clinic setting evaluating surgical and non-surgical patients. 1st assistant in surgery – Performs first assist duties, including ensuring all needed equipment and supplies are present. Post-op – Writes orders in the recovery room, talks with family, visits patients, performs post-op procedures and more Discharge planning- Dictates discharge summaries, writes prescriptions, explains discharge instructions, confirms follow-up appointments and more Consult and coordinate with healthcare team members to assess, plan, implement and evaluate the patient’s care plan
