Description:

To perform clerical duties, order and data entry utilizing multiple computer systems. To effectively communicate and facilitate all departmental orders and results to ED staff. Serves as front-line departmental ambassador in customer service. Maintain a professional demeanor with internal and external personnel. Work in conjunction with the ED team in order to expedite patient care and through put and provide excellent quality care in a family oriented hospital setting. Estimated pay range for this position is $17.02 – $20.59 / hour depending on experience.

Degrees:
High School or GED Licenses & Certifications:

Basic Life Support.

Additional Qualifications:

Completion of a medical terminology course or previous experience in admitting/emergency or physician office (preferred). BLS certification required for entities who assist in Transportation, others preferred. Strong verbal and written communication skills, skilled in negotiation and conflict resolution, peer respect, critical thinking skills, self-motivated, customer service skills and/or orientation. Exhibits flexibility in scheduling to adapt to special circumstances.
