They work under the direction of a physician to perform a variety of administrative and clinical tasks. Summary As an Orthopedic Medical Assistant, you will provide essential medical administrative support and patient care in a dynamic healthcare setting. Reporting to the orthopedic physician, your role will involve managing patient intake, recording vital signs, and utilizing EHR systems to maintain accurate patient records. Your core skills in medical terminology and physiology will be vital. With a focus on delivering high-quality care, you will contribute significantly to the efficiency and effectiveness of the orthopedic practice. Qualifications Proficient in medical administrative support and patient care Strong understanding of medical terminology and physiology Experience with EHR systems and managing medical records Basic Life Support (BLS) certification Familiarity with vital signs monitoring and patient intake procedures Previous experience in orthopedic settings.
