JOB DESCRIPTION

Nemours is seeking a Physician Assistant to join our Urology Team in Orlando, Florida!
Our Urology providers are experts at making kids feel better. We also know how to explain complicated urological problems in a way that kids understand and strive to make sure every patient receives the best care possible. Currently the department consists of 3 Physicians and 2 Physician Assistants who work collaboratively to achieve the best possible outcomes. Key Responsibilities
Provides care to pediatric patients with acute or chronic illnesses, with a patient/family centered care focus.
Elicits comprehensive or focused/interval health history(ies).
Participates in daily rounds on patients admitted to the Urology service. Performs consults as needed on patients referred to the Urology service. Performs complete or focused physical examinations.
Writes Admission, Discharge, pre-operative and post-operative orders
Orders, performs, and/or interprets diagnostic or screening tests.
Orders and interprets radiographs and ultrasounds within the PA scope of practice.

Qualifications
Prior Urology experience strongly preferred. Florida Physician Assistant Licensure
American Heart Association BLS
Experience working with Pediatrics or Child Health preferred.
