Under limited supervision, the Cardiovascular Surgery Advanced Practice Provider will specializing in the care and surgical treatment of cardiovascular patients. Responsibilities include conducting thorough patient assessments, assisting in advanced surgical procedures, and providing preoperative and postoperative care. Other essential functions include collaborating with surgeons during complex procedures, managing patient rounds, interpreting diagnostic tests, prescribing medications, and offering patient and family education regarding surgical care and recovery. Succeed:
Advanced degree in Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner studies
Licensed as a Physician Assistant PA-C or Nurse Practitioner in the state or ability to obtain
Prior clinical experience in a cardiac surgery setting
