- Associate Director of Clinical Education Description The South College Physician Assistant Studies Program is seeking a highly motivated and innovative physician assistant for the position of Director of Clinical Education to join our PA program in Atlanta, GA.
We are searching for a team-oriented faculty member to assist in the development and management of our clinical curriculum and clinical sites. Responsibilities Develop and provide ongoing management of the clinical portion of the program
Act as a liaison between the preceptor, student, and program
Provide continuous self-assessment and evaluation of the clinical portion of the program
Assist in the continuous review and compliance of federal, state, and accrediting activities
Maintain and review scheduling of patient tracking logs
Plan scholarship and service activities
Lead coordination of End of Rotation activities and testing
Provide instruction in all phases of the program
Participate in student advising, student admissions, and committees as assigned Requirements Education Master’s degree in Physician Assistant studies or related field
Graduate of an ARC-PA accredited program with at least 3 years of clinical experience as a PA Credentials Eligibility for licensure in Georgia (must secure upon hire if not currently held)
Current NCCPA certification Experience Excellent written and oral communication skills
Preference given for PAs with formal teaching and/or Clinical Director experience
