Wellstar MCG Health Wellstar Medical College of Georgia in Augusta is seeking a physician assistant or an acute care nurse practitioner with recent surgical experience to join our CT Surgery team. The primary responsibility of the
CVICU APP
is to provide direct patient care for post op patients, responsible for maintain the quality of care standards for all procedures and clinical care provided in the CVICU, provides medical and surgical care under the supervision of the MD of the CVICU and their individual collaborating physicians. Provides care in accordance with standarized policies, procedures and protocols. This position will be strictly inpatient working in the CVICU and the CVOR. The schedule is 12-hour shifts, and you may be required to work a various combination of days, nights, or weekends. Ideal candidates will have surgical experience and preferably in the thoracic and/or CV surgery sub-specialties. Candidates must be certified and licensed as either an ACNP with recent surgical experience or PA.
