We are seeking a Physician Assistant Level I-V at our Eugene, OR-clinic to help ensure our service members get the best carepossible. As a Physician Assistant with Jamshid Tamiry, M.D., P.C., dba QTCMedical Group of Alaska a Leidos QTC Health Service affiliatedprofessional corporation, you will conduct a variety of generalmedicine, occupational, and disability health examinationsincluding, but not limited to: Reviewing medical history and associated records Interpreting clinical data Completing written reports and generating independent medicalopinions (IMO) The examinations may be completed in-person (in a clinic setting),in the examinee’s home, telephonically, at large event settings forthe Reserve Health Readiness Program, or using telehealthplatforms. You will also have the ability to travel (up to 30%) to providephysical examinations for veterans and service members in multiplelocations throughout the country. All travel expenses are coveredand a per diem will be received.•

  • $170,000
  • with a potential annual bonus up to30%.
Work Schedule, Location, and General Information:

Generally M-F, 8 working hour day (between 7am

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Physical exams for a variety of customers to include federal,defense and others. Occupational health exams to include pre

  • and post-employmentand annual physicals. Written medical opinions based on provided medicalrecords/information and acceptable clinical evidence (ACE) Provide telephonic and virtual exams Unique exam settings
  • homebound, event sites, etc. Completion of Veterans Benefits Administration DisabilityBenefit Questionnaires (DBQs) Provide primary medical evaluations to include, but not limitedto: review of systems, pap smear, and range of motion Complete initial review and interpretation of diagnosticstudies to include but not limited to:
  • laboratory, pulmonaryfunction and ECG studies Documentation of examinee records in appropriatesystems.

Collaboration with other professional and clinical staff asneeded and communicate with internal and client team members indetermining the most effective and evidence-based way forward onbehalf of the examinee population.

Competencies:

Demonstrates compassion, professionalism, and a commitment toproviding excellent customer service and care to theclaimants. From a primary care perspective, be able to fully assessexaminee health status through physical examinations. Analytical ability necessary to evaluate and render medicalopinions. Review and interpretation of standard clinicaldiagnostics Technically competent with computers/tablets to includeproficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint,Outlook) and using Electronic Medical Records Knowledge of workplace health and safety concepts Education and/or

Experience:

Required:

Master’s Degree in Physician Assistant Studies from anaccredited university or college Current certification by the National Commission onCertification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) Minimum 3 years of post-graduate primary care / internalmedicine experience. Unrestricted State medical licensure without limitations toperform full scope of authorized practice in the state ofhire. Valid

BLS OR ACLS

certification Ability to obtain DEA license Ability to earn and maintain clinical training/certificationsas required by current and future contracts. Must be able to obtain and maintain government clearances(LARS, Public Trust, NACI, etc.) as required. Ability to pass a medical clearance consisting of passing anN95 respirator fit test, properly wearing organizational standardrespiratory protective equipment as required, passing aTuberculosis/TB test, and receiving a Hepatitis A/B vaccine seriesor passing a Hepatitis A/B Titer test and other medicalclearances/vaccinations as required.•

Experience conducting occupational/disability medicalexaminations
