Winchester Hospital is a community hospital located just north of Boston. The 30-bed emergency department has about 60,000 visits yearly.

Responsibilities:

We are in search of an NP or PA with interest in working full time (3 shifts per week) in our Emergency Department. Our nurse practitioners and physician assistants work in a high acuity, fast-paced practice. Working alongside their physician colleagues they provide care to patients of all ages, illnesses and disease processes. Advanced practice providers are responsible for assessing, diagnosing and treating patients of all acuity levels with support from their physician colleagues. Procedures include suturing, fracture care, EKG interpretation, X-ray interpretation, joint reductions, central line insertions, intubation, lumbar punctures, and more.

Qualifications:

Completion of an accredited Master’s degree as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician’s Assistant. Active or current license in the state of Massachusetts. Current and active basic life support (BLS) and advanced cardiac life support (ACLS). Preferred 2 years experience in critical care or emergency medicine Competitive salary based on experience.
