• Join our renowned Cardiothoracic Surgery team at Lahey Hospital & Medical Center, a leading 345-bed tertiary care center near Boston!
• About the

Role:

• As an Advanced Practice Provider (PA), you’ll play a vital role in managing post-operative Cardiothoracic Surgery patients in the ICU, PCU, and Telemetry units.
• Responsibilities include:
• + H&Ps, daily notes, discharge summaries + Inpatient & ER consults/admissions + Post-operative care planning & follow-up + Rotating coverage: Telemetry, PCU, OR, on-call (including nights/weekends) + 24/7 in-house APP coverage & OR first assist call (rotating schedule)
• Experience
• :•+ Surgical first assist experience (Cardiac & Thoracic) + Endoscopic Vein & Open Radial Artery Harvest skills + Familiarity with Robotic Thoracic Surgery + Strong post-operative management skills (Cardiac & Thoracic) + Proficiency in chest tube, central/arterial line placement/removal + Removal of temporary pacing wires, Swan-Ganz, IABP, sutures and staples + ICU management post-op (ventilators, inotropes, vasoactive meds, circulatory support) •

Qualifications:

• + Accredited PA program graduate + Minimum 2 years Cardiothoracic Surgery experience + MA State License (or eligible) + Current

BCLS/ACLS

certification + Ability to thrive in a high-acuity, collaborative environment + Excellent communication, teamwork, and emotional intelligence
