Job Details Nurse Practitioner / PhysicianAssistant 3 12s The ideal candidate will have the ability to:

• Seepatients ages 2 and up
• Read EKGs
• Interpret Labs
• Experience withlaceration repair and suturing
• Experience with x-rayinterpretation and reading x-rays Will look at New Grad PhysicianAssistant or Nurse Practitioner with experience in the EmergencyRoom, Critical Care or Urgent Care.

Job Responsibilities:

Performcomplete physical exams and assessments of patients includingurgent and non-urgent presentation. Select, order, perform andinterpret tests, analyses and diagnostic images to provideinformation on patient condition and augment physical findings.

Analyze reports and findings of tests to diagnose patients.

Prescribe or administer treatment, therapy, medication, vaccinationand other specialized medical care to treat or prevent illness andinjury. Perform procedures including laceration repair, orthopedicsand provide referrals to medical specialists. Explain proceduresand discuss test results and prescribed treatments with patients.

Notate findings and treatment course in patient electronic chartincluding follow-up notes. Perform physicals—including sports, DOT,non-DOT, pre-employment and annuals. Evaluate patients for workers’compensation injuries, coordinating with employer/clients tobalance the needs of the patient and requirements of the employer.

Oversee mid-level providers working independently at clinics withinthe region, when necessary. Want learn more?
