Description
MaineHealth Maine Medical Center Biddeford/ Sanford Emergency Department is seeking a per-diem Physician Assistant to expand our current ED PA program. This provider will work alongside our Emergency Department Physicians to provide care in our emergency departments in Biddeford and Sanford, along with providing care in our new CDU (Observation Unit) which will be opening in mid-2025. Desired Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree and successful completion of accredited Physician Assistant or Acute Care Nurse Practitioner program.
- Current license issued by the State of Maine or eligible for licensure.
- Experience in Emergency Medicine/EMS is preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to effectively triage, organize and prioritize.
- Ability to function as part of a team.
- Proficient computer skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
