Job Description:

A facility is seeking a neurosurgery physician associate forlocum tenens coverage. The facility is located in Asheville, NC.This opportunity requires candidates to have both a North Carolinamedical license and NC DEAplease do not submit anyone without them.

The schedule is 12-hour shifts from 7am to 7pm, seven days a week.

We’re seeking 34 candidates with prior Neurosurgery experience, andFirst Assist experience is required. The role includes handling anaverage of 12 consults per day, assisting surgeons on a PRN basis,supporting floor call, answering clinical questions, managingprescriptions, and entering orders. The EMR system used is Cerner,and support staff includes RNs, PCTs, and EEG Techs.
