QTC Medical Group of Alaska:

As a contracted Physician Assistant with Jamshid Tamiry, M.D., P.C., dba QTC Medical Group of Alaska a Leidos QTC Health Service affiliated professional corporation, you will conduct a variety of general medicine, occupational, and disability health examinations including, but not limited to: Reviewing medical history and associated records
Interpreting clinical data
Completing written reports and generating independent medical opinions (IMO) The examinations may be completed in-person (in a clinic setting; whether it is your clinic, or our clinic), in the examinee’s home, at large event settings for the Reserve Health Readiness Program.

Primary Responsibilities:

Conduct physical exams for a variety of customers to include federal, defense and others.
Occupational health exams to include pre- and post-employment and annual physicals.
Written medical opinions based on provided medical records/information
Unique exam settings – homebound, event sites, etc.
Completion of Veterans Benefits Administration Disability Benefit Questionnaires (DBQs)
Provide primary medical evaluations to include, but not limited to: review of systems, pap smear, and range of motion
Complete initial review and interpretation of diagnostic studies to include but not limited to: laboratory, pulmonary function and ECG studies
Documentation of examinee records in appropriate systems.
Collaboration with other professional and clinical staff as needed and communicate with internal and client team members in determining the most effective and evidence-based way forward on behalf of the examinee population.

Required Qualifications:
Education:

Master’s Degree in Physician Assistant Studies from an accredited university or college
Completed Education and training in an US accredited, post-baccalaureate (Masters)

Certification:

Current certification by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA)
Unrestricted medical licensure without limitations to perform full scope of authorized practice in the state of hire.
Valid

BLS OR ACLS

certification
Ability to obtain DEA license
Ability to earn and maintain clinical training/certifications as required by current and future contracts

Experience:

Minimum 2 years of post-graduate experience in General Medicine or Internal Medicine.

Clearance:

Ability to pass a medical clearance
Must be able to obtain and maintain government clearances (LARS, Public Trust, NACI, BGI, etc.) as required.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience conducting occupational/disability medical examinations

Appointments are typically scheduled approximately 5 to 7 days of notification. You set the pace and frequency!

Compensation:

Compensation will be provided for each examination, with payment determined based on the specific requirements and type of examination performed.

Additional Information:

Provider must complete required online training courses, up to 13 courses at approx. 17.5 hours total.
Leidos QTC Health Services will run a 7-year criminal history and sex offender background check.
Once the BGI and credentialing have been completed, the Provider will be required to obtain CPEP Certification (approx.17 hours/depending on specialty)
You will be given access to the Provider Liaison (PL) department; this department assists with any issues, questions, or needs you may have while contracted with Leidos QTC Health Services.
