Description SUMMARY

The Physician Assistant plays a vital role in delivering comprehensive care to patients as part of the Head and Neck Cancer Team at Rochester General Hospital. Working under the general supervision of a physician or administrator, the PA performs thorough medical evaluations, assists with diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, and contributes to the development and implementation of treatment plans. This full-time, weekday position offers a unique opportunity to support complex oncology care in both clinical and surgical settings, with limited call responsibilities and a strong focus on collaborative, patient-centered care.

SCHEDULE

Days (Monday-Friday); Call Limited This position is based within the hospital and provides direct support to the Head and Neck Cancer team. The Physician Assistant will work closely with Drs. John Coniglio, Andrew Coniglio, and William Stokes in the coordination and delivery of patient care.

Medication & Orders. Prescribe medication, write orders, perform procedures and respond to emergency and/or immediate condition changes of acute, critically ill patients.

Documentation. Obtain complete, detailed and accurate patient histories, review patient records, perform physical exams, record all pertinent data to develop comprehensive medical status, diagnosis and clinical treatment plan for all assigned patients.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

M•Medium Work•Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects; Requires frequent walking, standing or squatting.

PAY RANGE

$100,000.00•$150,000.00 The listed base pay range is a good faith representation of current potential base pay for successful applicants. It may be modified in the future. Pay is determined by factors including experience, relevant qualifications, specialty, internal equity, location, and contracts.
