Physician Assistant – First Assist – Per Diem Position Available In Delaware, Pennsylvania

Premier Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine is looking for a Per Diem Physician Assistant-First Assist to join several of our ASCs and other ASCs as needed.

The Physician Assistant Essential Duties and Functions:

The Physician Assistant is responsible for providing patient services under the direct supervision and responsibility of the designated supervising staff physician, including assisting physician in cases in the OR. A few responsibilities of the Physician Assistant include but are not limited to: Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic procedures. Consult directly with physician to assess the patient’s condition and treatment options Provide monitoring and continuity of care between physician visits. Monitor patients and administers medications according to division policy.

The Physician Assistant Qualifications:

Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Physician Assistant required. Unrestricted Pennsylvania License Graduate of accredited program for Physician Assistant required. Bachelor’s degree required. Exceptional customer facing verbal communication skills with a proven ability to interact effectively with a variety of external and internal constituents. Ability to work well under pressure. Athena or other EMR proficiency highly preferred
