Our top-tierhealthcare facility is seeking a dynamic and dedicated PermanentPhysician Assistant Surgical Nocturnist to join our team on nights.

As a Surgical Nocturnist, you willwork primarily during night shifts, providing critical care topost-surgical patients and managing any emergent issues that arise.

This role requires a high level of responsibility and autonomy, andwill offer the successful candidate the chance to develop theirclinical skills and knowledge in a supportive, collaborativeenvironment.

Responsibilities:

Provide high-quality patient care ina post-surgical setting, managing a variety of complex cases andensuring optimal patient outcomes. Perform thorough patientassessments, develop treatment plans, and manage the implementationof these plans, working closely with other healthcareprofessionals. Respond swiftly and effectively to any emergentissues, utilizing your clinical judgement and decision-makingskills to ensure patient safety and wellbeing. Collaborateeffectively with other members of the healthcare team, includingphysicians, nurses, and other allied health professionals. Maintainaccurate and up-to-date patient records, ensuring all documentationis completed in a timely and professional manner. Participate inongoing professional development activities, staying up-to-datewith the latest advancements in your field and continually strivingto improve your clinical skills and knowledge.

Qualifications:

Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program. Currentcertification as a Physician Assistant. Minimum of 1 year ofexperience as a Physician Assistant, with a focus on surgicalnocturnist or critical care preferred. Demonstrated ability to workindependently and make critical decisions under pressure. Excellentinterpersonal and communication skills, with the ability toeffectively collaborate with a diverse team of healthcareprofessionals. Strong commitment to patient care, with a passionfor providing high-quality, individualized care to each patient.

Current BLS and ACLS certification. Ability to work night shifts,with flexibility to work additional hours as needed. Must have astrong understanding of medical procedures, terminology, and healthcare administration ethics. Flexible scheduling with another FTEsharing 6 shifts from 7p-7a bi-weekly.
