Opportunity:
- As a vital member of the CardiacSurgery team, the APP will deliver expert, compassionate care topatients in our 18-bed Cardiac Surgery intensive care unit (ICU),step-down unit, and floor settings.
Responsibilities include:
- Managed preoperative and postoperative care for cardiac surgerypatients.
- Perform bedside procedures including central venous andarterial line placement, intra-aortic balloon pump removal, etc.
- Provide care for patients undergoing advanced procedures, includingheart transplants, ECMO (Extracorporeal Membrane Oxygenation),mechanical circulatory support, and transcatheter aortic valvereplacement (TAVR).
- Conduct thorough patient assessments,developing individualized care plans, and closely monitoringprogress.
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team, fosteringa culture of teamwork and concise communication to ensure optimalpatient outcomes.
- Support seamless transitions of care betweenthe ICU, step-down, and floor settings.
- Provide patient andfamily education, ensuring a clear understanding of the surgicalprocess and recovery journey.
Schedule:
Full-time employmentincludes day/night/weekend/holiday rotation. Permanent nightpositions are available. Premium night/weekend differentialsoffered.

Qualifications Qualifications :
- Certified Physician Assistant(PA-C) or Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (APRN), preferably with 1years of relevant experience in Cardiac Surgery, critical care, orsurgical settings.
