DESCRIPTION
Under the guidance of the Department Director, supervises nursing and related activities for the department. Coordinates, assesses, plans, implements and evaluates delivery of patient care. Provides direction to the development and evaluation of department personnel. Assists with the maintenance of operational aspects of the unit. Contributes to the nursing, the department and the hospital through support of the mission, vision and values of Beaufort Memorial Hospital.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
Education:
Ability to obtain a South Carolina RN License. BSN preferred.
Experience:
Four years experience in Emergency Department preferred.
Certifications/Licenses:
Current South Carolina RN license.
BLS certification required prior to first clinical shift (must be issued by the American Heart Association).
ACLS required.
CEN, TNCC, ENPC, PALS
preferred
