Req # 27610 Manages the daily, weekly and monthly billing functions of the office, which includes ensuring all charges and payments are posted correctly and in a timely fashion, insurance is filed within the time that is appropriate for practice specialty, deposits are made daily, all reports are worked as per department policy, and management is informed when issues arise in any of these processes. Expected to do whatever is necessary to assure all charges and payments have been entered for month end. (This may require after hours and/or overtime)
Qualifications:
High school, business degree, CMA or equivalent. Minimum five years experience in billing/insurance or management, preferably in medical field. Good interpersonal skills. Good administrative, organizational, professional and computer skills. Interact well with staff, patients and the public.
