GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF ASSIGNED DUTIES
This physician provides clinical and surgical evaluation andtreatment of orthopedic patients along with complex orthopedic surgeries.
FUNCTIONS OR SCOPES OF PRACTICE
Primarily responsible for providing Orthopedic care to veteransboth clinically and surgically. Responsible for resident supervision per VA guidelines.
Responsible for staffing Orthopedic clinics. Attendance at staff meetings andparticipation on committees as assigned. Responsible for performing surgicalprocedures pertaining to Orthopedics. Responsible for timely medical records, includingcomputer order/entry. Responsible for inpatient and outpatient Orthopedicservices. Supports Section Chief, Chief, Surgical Service and TVHS in obtainingPerformance Measures. Responsible for completing all VA mandatory and assignededucational trainings.
