Job Overview:
Vascular Surgeon to join healthcare team in Southeast Alabama for Full-time Perm position.
Responsibilities:
Perform surgical procedures to treat vascular conditions, including but not limited to aneurysms, varicose veins, and peripheral artery disease.
Conduct thorough patient consultations, examinations, and medical histories to determine the most appropriate treatment plans.
Interpret diagnostic tests, such as ultrasounds and angiograms, to assess the extent and severity of vascular conditions.
Collaborate with other medical professionals, including cardiologists, radiologists, and anesthesiologists, to provide comprehensive patient care.
Stay abreast of advancements in vascular surgery and implement best practices in treatment methodologies.
Educate patients and their families about vascular conditions, treatment options, and postoperative care.
Participate in on-call schedules 1:2 and respond promptly to emergency cases requiring vascular surgical intervention.
Contribute to continuous quality improvement initiatives within the vascular surgery department.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including surgical notes and progress reports.
Qualifications:
Board certification in Vascular Surgery.
Valid medical license in the state of Alabama.
